In collaboration with the Portland State Aerospace Society (PSAS) and their OreSat team, Westview Aerospace Club will be working to fly OreSat1B, a test configuration of the 2016 CSLI Proposed OreSat to be launched in Q2 2022. The payload will be collecting valuable data performance of various subsystems. Courtesy to the NASA Balloon Programs Office (BPO) and the Louisiance Space Consortium, OreSat1B will achieve an altitude of ~36km for a flight duration of 15-20 hours! Westview Aerospace serves as the educational outreach component of this mission, allowing high school students to work hands-on with orbital class CubeSats!
